The Center offers access to a broad array of cutting-edge instrumentation and services. Metabolic Profiling Core


Spanning from the molecule to cell to the intact animal, this Core addresses metabolic needs by offering an integrated approach. This includes: Sciex 5500 Agilent Seahorse XF 24e Metabolic/Behavioral Phenotyping System Various Exercise Systems




Microscopy and Pathology Core


We deliver end-to-end imaging and histology support. Capabilities include confocal/MP, fluorescence, and AFM imaging, complemented with a full pathology suite. We assist with design, training, and analysis to generate high-quality project data.




Physiology Core


The Center performs procedures and quantifies cardiac function for the investigators in the Center, as well as others on campus. Our expertise and suite of instruments enables robust educational opportunities for trainees and faculty.




Exposures and Toxicology Core


This collection of services includes a Versatile Aerosol Concentration Enrichment System (VACES) to expose mice to concentrated ambient particles (CAPs). There are also a host of related biometric systems, including DEXAScan, radiotelemetry, and others.
